To all that knew SGT. Bennett, I had the pleasure of his company at the establishment I work for, he gave me unit patches and a sticker and was a very funny guy with the twinkles in his eyes that you have mentioned, after learning that he had fallen I have been working on a small memorial for him. I will post all pictures and related text of his shadowbox on our website, and if you would like more info, please contact me at joe@shamrockbre wing.com

Alex, where to begin? What do you say to your hero? I guess I can start with a simple thank you. Thank you for taking a stand, and accepting the path that God had drawn out for you. Thank you for your sacrifice, and the love you always had for it. Thank you for always being my sunshine, and thank you now for being my Angel. I pray that you can see into my soul, and know how much you matter, and will always matter to me. I love you now and always Alex. I will see you again someday.

What a handsome young man with such charm, wit and vigor! I will miss that smile, that twinkle in your eyes, and your hugs. Your uncle and I love you very much. This hurts, bud. It really sucks. We do however take cold comfort in knowing you will be waiting with a twinkle, a smile, and a hug when we reunite in Glory. To your brothers in arms who you have left behind, we salute you and thank you and offer our hearts and prayers... Alex, we are so proud of you. So so proud of you....
